When you use Sub In without an account, all data (game history, player names, stats) is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and hashed password or OAuth provider information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your account information solely to authenticate you and allow access to synced game data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
Account data is stored securely in our database. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt before storage. We never store plain-text passwords. Game data synced to your account is stored on our servers.
4. Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this only to create and identify your account. We do not access any other Google account data.
5. Data Retention
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Local (non-account) data can be cleared through your device's browser storage settings.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage to save your settings and game data locally. Authentication uses secure HTTP-only cookies for session management.
7. Children's Privacy
Sub In is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
